Did you see our last post for line marking tests?
Here’s how it performed in the real world!

We had the opportunity of partnering with @Drone Dog - Drone Spraying Services to tackle an exciting challenge: automated line marking across 20 hectares of open land in the Waikato to support forestry planting operations. This might be a New Zealand first for large scale automated line marking in forestry!

What we delivered:
✅ Satellite-precise lines down to the centimetre with customer-specified spacing and direction
✅ 20 hectares marked across multiple blocks over 3 days
✅ Perfect straight line continuity - whether lines were sprayed on day one or day three

The real test:
Our robots handled some genuinely challenging terrain: steep slopes, fallen logs, and constantly changing ground conditions.
It wasn’t without its learning moments, but our team adapted quickly, and we’re really proud of the results. 🦾

The outcome:
More efficient and more accurate line-marking than traditional methods.
What’s better: this can be repeated again and again; same line, same place.

We’d love to connect:
If your business could benefit from this level of precision and efficiency, or if this sparks ideas for other applications of our platform, get in touch!
